The New Oxford Area Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce the hiring of Michaela Shaffer as the new Marketing/Membership Coordinator. Michaela is replacing Britta Corle on August 20, who recently accepted a full-time position, but plans to join the Chamber Board of Directors. Michaela has many excellent skills and a plethora of experience. She is a graduate of York College of Pennsylvania with a degree in Public Relations. With a 4.0 GPA, Michaela is no doubt an intelligent asset to the Chamber and has experience working for Chambers of Commerce as a former employee of the Hanover Area Chamber of Commerce. Michaela's skills include working with Adobe InDesign and Photoshop as well as Microsoft Office Suite. The Chamber is so excited to have Michaela in the office and looks forward to seeing how her numerous skills and experience will help grow the New Oxford Area Chamber of Commerce.

Antique & Classic Car Show coming to New Oxford for the 62nd Annual Antique Market & Craft Show!5/15/2018 The New Oxford Area Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce the addition of a classic and antique car show to our annual Antique Market & Craft Show! The show will take place on South Peters Street and feature 25 cars! All registrants will receive a car dash plaque and one lucky winner will be awarded Best of Show! The New Oxford Area Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors at the March 15th Board meeting changed the day and time of the monthly Chamber Board meetings. The meetings will now take place on the FOURTH Thursday of the month, rather than the third, and instead of 7pm, the time is 5:30pm. Therefore, the next Chamber Board meeting will take place on Thursday, April 26th at 5:30pm in the New Oxford Borough Building. If you have any questions or concerns about this change, please do not hesitate to contact the Chamber office.
The Annual Spring Breakfast was held this past Tuesday at Cross Keys Village-The Brethren Home Community. The event was well attended by old and new members alike with the addition of three New Oxford High School Exchange Students from France, Germany, and Chile! We thoroughly enjoyed introducing our new members and having the exchange students as our guests of honor! We hope everyone had a marvelous time eating a fantastic meal and networking with fellow Chamber members!
The New Oxford Chamber has recently learned that a farmer's market is coming to New Oxford this Spring thanks to the Children's Cancer Recovery Foundation! They are currently looking for vendors (limited to local, organic growers & artisans) to participate. Interested parties should contact the Children's Cancer Recovery Foundation at 717-688-7940. We are so excited and look forward to supporting this endeavor to bring people to the New Oxford area and discover what all this little town with the beautiful circle has to offer!
