The New Oxford Chamber and WellSpan Health are excited to present the Fall 2022 Lunch & Learn titled "Remember, We All Rise When We Lift Others…Keys to Wellbeing and Building Resilience in Ourselves and Others." This event will be held on Wednesday, September 14 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at The Markets at Hanover.
Program Description: What started in 2020 has now moved into two plus years, one storm in COVID-19 colliding with multiple storms involving numerous natural disasters, ceaseless political divisions as well cries for racial and social justice, all of which a have had a cumulative toll on everyone’s mental and emotional wellbeing. In 2021, the employer world saw a mass exodus of American workers, millions of people leaving their jobs. Dr. Diller provides a guide on the key areas in supporting our fellow colleagues and coworkers along with fostering a culture of wellbeing as most people are looking to their employer organizations for support in integrating their work-life balance needs.

- Attendees will be able to identify specific strategies in supporting the psychological and wellbeing of their fellow coworkers
- Attendees will have access to resources that lead to actionable steps in growing resilience and supporting good mental health

Dr. Michael Diller, Licensed Psychologist and Director of WellSpan Employee Assistance Program (WSEAP)
Dr. Diller is a Licensed Psychologist and Director of WellSpan Employee Assistance Program (WSEAP). He earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Pittsburgh, a master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Loyola College in Maryland and a Doctor of Psychology Degree in Clinical Psychology from the University of Hartford. He spent nineteen years in clinical practice, fifteen of those years at WellSpan Behavioral Health (WBH), now known as WellSpan Philhaven. Dr. Diller served as a clinical supervisor from 2006 to 2016 overseeing clinical operations of WBH-Meadowlands outpatient office. He has been with WSEAP since 2016 and has been passionate about finding better ways to support our fellow coworkers, raising awareness of mental health issues in the workplace and offering ways we can provide a culture of caring to support overall wellbeing. Dr. Diller was named one of Central Penn Business Journal’s 2021 Health Care Heroes honorees in the Mental Health Caregiver Hero category. |
