LPN

Hoffman Homes is a community of employees gathered on one campus to help youth and young adults understand and manage their mental health diagnosis. We are looking to add an LPN to our outstanding medical team (Monday - Friday schedule). As an LPN, you will be an integral part of our medical services team. You will be working with several RNs and physicians, in a collaborative effort, to address the medical needs of our youth/young adults of HH.
Duties Include
  • Address any illness or injury concerns of the youth/young adults using basic nursing assessments and practices
  • Prepare documents and files for admissions to the program.
  • Develop and revise a healthcare report for each youth/young adult in care.
  • Assist physicians by relaying medical information and directives to others.
  • Transmit medication orders to pharmacy.
  • Communicate changes in medical information between the doctors and the other treatment team members.
  • Assist with the management of each patient file to be sure that all necessary information is in place.
  • Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Must be a licensed to work in Pennsylvania

Special Education Teacher


Hoffman Homes is a community of employees gathered on one campus to help children understand and manage their mental health diagnosis.
The Hoffman Academy represents the education department of Hoffman Home, Inc. The program offers special education and regular education services to students in need of a trauma-informed learning environment, offering specialized services not found in the traditional school setting. Hoffman Academy is looking for a teacher to fulfill our role of Special Education Teacher for the 25/26 school year.
Essential Performance Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement IEPs and NOREPs as well as facilitate meetings with regard to these plans and the student’s overall treatment program.
  • Manages a classroom of students who may be at various skill levels.
  • Develops lesson plans and instructional materials
  • Keeps record of performance for each student.
  • Collect and analyze student data
  • Works as part of team assigned to each student that may involve the therapist and direct care staff of any students residing at Hoffman Homes.
  • Implements trauma-informed practices within the classroom setting
  • Implements the School-wide Positive Behavior Intervention and Support Plan
  • Maintain records and make reports as required by State Law, the State Board of Education, the Pennsylvania Department of Education, and the School.
Requirements
  • Applicants need to be able to receive a Private Academic School certification or have Pennsylvania Certification in Special Education (7-12; N-12; or PK-8). Dual Certification a plus. All teaching certifications will be considered.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in education discipline applicable to teaching assignment.
  • All necessary clearances will be processed.

Do you have a passion for landscaping? Jarvis Landscaping Inc. is seeking talented, hard-working, and dedicated landscape laborers and crew leaders to join our team. You will perform a range of general lawn maintenance duties including: mowing, string trimming, edging, maintaining the landscape design, removing weeds and dead plants, maintaining equipment, and other miscellaneous landscaping duties.

The successful candidate must be able to meet the customer's standards and expectations for each project. Crew leaders may be tasked with leading a team of workers and making sure that they maintain a high level of excellence throughout the duration of their work. Candidates who have displayed an exemplary attitude in the past and demonstrated dependability in similar roles are highly encouraged to apply. Minimum of 1-year professional landscaping experience is a must.

Responsibilities:
•Conduct general maintenance duties such as mowing, trimming, edging, cleaning away debris, and other duties.
•Apply fertilizer and grass seed.
•Remove weeds and dead plants.
•Trim overgrown limbs, hedges, and leaves.
•Uphold the landscaping design and ensure customer satisfaction.
•Plant bushes, flowers, plants, shrubs, and trees.
•Maintain equipment to operate in efficient manner.
•Snow Removal duties during snow season including but not limited to snow blowing, shoveling, etc.

Requirements:
•High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
•Must be able to operate maintenance equipment including zero turn lawnmowers, push mowers, leaf blowers, string trimmers, hedge trimmers, snowblowers, etc.
•Knowledge of basic lawn maintenance.
•High attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
•Good stamina and physical health.
•Reliable and dependable.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.50 - $20.00 per hour with increased pay for snow removal duties.

Schedule:
•8 hour shift
•Monday to Friday
•Weekends as needed

Education:
•High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:
•Landscape maintenance: Minimum 1 year (Required)
License/Certification:
•Driver's License (Required)
