Director of Operations

 An exciting new opportunity in Gettysburg!
 
ACHS is seeking an experienced administrator to oversee the overall operations of our brand new, state-of-the-art building and museum. A ground-floor opportunity to shape the position as needed and grow with future opportunities.
 
Duties will include working with our CRM software to enter, acknowledge, and manage donations and memberships and create customized contact lists, managing supplies and services ordering with various vendors, assisting in interviewing and onboarding of volunteers as well as various general administrative and clerical assistance to the Executive Director and staff.  
 
At least 7 years of administrative experience is preferred. Experience with CRMs, Microsoft Office, and Google Products is important as is the ability to quickly learn new software. Familiarity with non-profits and tourism-oriented organizations is a plus.  Candidates should have excellent writing and communication skills and be highly organized and detail-oriented. Must be willing to form meaningful relationships with staff, patrons, and donors and have enthusiasm for Gettysburg and Adams County history.
 
Position starting Jan 3, 2023. Full time, 40 hours, with willingness to work occasional weekend days or evenings in the busiest times.
 
Salary $40-$45,000 depending on experience.  Medical, dental, and vision benefits.

Children's Aid Society is seeking a Director of Clinical Services to lead and oversee the agency wide clinical programs as we expand our therapy services. The Director of Clinical Services works collaboratively with the Executive Director/CEO and the Leadership Team to develop, implement, and effectively perform the strategic goals of the organization.

Clinical Manager of Therapy Services


The Clinical Manager of Therapy Services is responsible for coordinating all activities relating to the provision of physical, occupational and speech therapy for VNA patients. 
this position provides oversight to the case management and nursing services for those patients assigned to the therapy team and provides leadership and supervision to interdisciplinary team members. The Clinical Manager facilities staff development, provides feedback to the Director of Clinical Services regarding patient care services. This professional demonstrates flexibility in meeting the agency's needs, assumes delegated responsibilities from the Director of Clinical Services for operational activities that relate to coordination, quality, cost, and outcomes of patient care. 
​
Qualifications:
  • Education: Graduate of an accredited rehabilitation program, Baccalaureate degree in rehabilitation or related field.
  • Experience: Has minimum 3 year of clinical rehab experience in Home Health required. Currently licensed in the Common Wealth of Pennsylvania. CPR certified. 

Occupational Therapist 

The Occupational Therapist provides occupational therapy for home health patients in accordance with the individual patient's needs and goals as addressed in the plan of care. The OT must have knowledge and understanding of a patients illness or injury and the ability to assess these needs and plan appropriate interventions. The role of the occupational therapist is to work as part of the home care team including RN, PT, SLP, MSW, and Home Health/ Hospice Aides to assist the patient in achieving their optimum goals. 

Qualifications:

  • Experience:  Current Occupational Therapy license in the State of Pennsylvania. CPR certified. 

Home Health LPN Sign-on Bonus $2500

The VNA of Hanover and Spring Grove is seeking a full-time, day shift Licensed Practical Nurse to provide skilled nursing care to Home Health patients in their home under the direction of the RN Case Manger.  

Must be able to participate in weekend rotation. 

Qualifications:
  • Education: Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program,  and an active PA LPN license.
  • Experience: Has minimum 1 year of general work experience in nursing required. ​

Machine Operator - Winding

The successful candidate will be responsible for the operation of a spiral winder and cut-off saws, as well as other miscellaneous equipment to fill customer orders. Second and third shift hours available.

Qualifications include:
  • Read and understand spec sheet and production orders to set-up machines correctly to produce a quality product.
  • Measuring, calipering, and checking the overall quality per customer specifications.
  • Ability to operate equipment effectively and efficiently. ​
  • Identify quality issues of end product and raw materials and remedy accordingly.
  • Ability to analyze packaging and make adjustments when needed.
  • Ability to lift 100 lbs., bend and twist throughout the work day.
  • Must be willing to accept and receive supervision and assistance with regard to machine operations and other essential tasks as assigned.

​High School Diploma or GED required. Prior machine operating experience is preferred, though machine specific training will be conducted once enrolled in our formal training program.

Benefits & Compensation:
  • 2nd shift - rate of pay starts at $21/hour with potential to earn up to $25.55/hour
  • 3rd shift - rate of pay starts at $20.50/hour with potential to earn up to $25.05/hour
  • Employment is on a temp to hire basis through a local staffing agency. Once applicant has completed the required contract hours and met performance standards, regular employment will begin. Hours worked under the temp arrangement are credited toward service time and benefits eligibility.​
