New Oxford Area Chamber of Commerce, The Antiques Capital of Central PA, New Oxford Area Chamber of Commerce

The New Oxford Area Chamber of Commerce named Karen Millar 2007 Volunteer of the Year on April 8th, 2008 during their New Member Breakfast at The Campus Inn.

This was Karen’s first year as a NOACC Board member. She took on the Chair position of the Chamber’s Holiday House Tour Committee. The tour is held every other year with proceeds going to local charities. Karen put this tour together for the first time along with a set of rookie Committee members. The tour was very successful and the Chamber received numerous positive comments.

Karen also joined the NOACC Tourism/PR Committee. She works at Syncopated Concepts in New Oxford and has been able to use her graphic talents that her job requires to help the Chamber with various advertising needs.
